  University Synagogue is a warm and welcoming community to all people who cross their threshold. The services are spiritually moving, the clergy is inspiring and programming is innovative- check it out!

  You will not find a more inclusive synagogue than University Synagogue. We have been members since being married by Rabbi Rachlis in 2008....I believe his first totally legal gay marriage. At that time we joined a Havurah and continue socialize with this terrific bunch. In addition I have been studying Hebrew every Monday night at the synagogue. (Our class loves Amit!) Bottom line, there are so many different avenues to take at University Synagogue, it's all there for the taking.

  One of the best synagogues I have ever attended. I have been a member for 15 years and have made lifelong friendships along with my husband and daughter. The rabbi's sermons are very meaningful and relevant. I can't say enough about the cantor's warmth and kindness. She has a great voice and she makes the services very entertaining and inclusive. The rabbi and cantor work well together.

  We searched for years to find a synagogue for our blended/interfaith family. We found University Synagogue in 2004 and have been members ever since. Our entire family has always felt welcome and at ease during services, life-cycle events, and the myriad of engaging educational programs. We love the inclusive and egalitarian values held by the clergy and the diverse congregation.

  I've been a member of University Synagogue for 10 years. The Synagogue provides an all inclusive, warm environment to all.
  
  The Pre School and Religious School staffs offer a loving environment where children interact with their teachers who provide positive, Jewish experiences that enrich their lives.
