  We had a very distressing experience last night at Wednesday Mass. When my family and I went to receive communion someone named "Frank" asked us "What do you say?"... He was very rude and smug. He told my mother I can't give you communion. He did not say "Body of Christ". My mother told me to say "Amen". He refused to give us communion. We have been Roman Catholics all of our lives. We have been parishoners at this church for 7 years. We went last night because we needed strengthening and help. Our family has been through 3 church sanctioned excorcisms and we are having issues yet again. We now need to find another place to worship. Frank should not be giving communion...he made us feel unwanted in a place that literally saved our lives 6 years ago.

  As a severely hearing impaired person, the sound system together with walls/ceilings that enhance the sound system, enabling me to hear the Word of God and partake in the Mass.
  
  The priests are fantastic. I enjoy hearing the Gospel from them. The 8 A.M. mass choir--The Haggar Family-are WONDERFUL!
  
  St. Thomas More parish is the place to be.

  Nice service, devote community. Several groups to join and Bibles studies. Nice gardens with seating areas to spend time in the Church.

  Attended a beautiful wedding here at this church. Amidst the hustle and bustle of Irvine and the Marketplace shopping center next door, it is a wonderfully peaceful, quiet and reflective respite to enjoy family and friends and focus on the solemn ceremony. For those with children, especially restless ones, there is ample space and a large grassy field for the kids to expend their energy and is safely away from the nearby traffic. For the wedding we attended, the field was a large enough location to gather the wedding party and attendees for a group photo by drone! I am not a Catholic myself so cannot speak to any nuances of ceremony but believe that those of any faith would feel welcome here. BIG TIP: Google Maps driving directions thinks the entrance is on Irvine Blvd, between Marketplace and Old Myford Rd. It is NOT. The parking lot entrance is on Marketplace, just NE of Irvine Blvd., and on the left. ENJOY!
